Ingredients Recommended

 

1 pkg. Marvelous Minestrone Soup Mix
4 c. water
14 oz stewed tomatoes (1 can)
1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
15 oz can of kidney beans
3 sliced carrots
2 small sliced zucchini
½ c. chopped celery

 

Directions:

 

1. Boil water, tomatoes, spice packet contents from soup
   mix, and hamburger in a large kettle.
2. Add kidney beans and any variation of carrots, zucchini,
   and celery (Add one 16 oz package of frozen vegetables
   with the beans to save time).
3. Simmer for 20 minutes or until carrots are tender.
4. Add noodle package and simmer 20 more minutes.

Mix Ingredients: Pasta, onion, salt, sugar, garlic, paprika,
oleoresin, soy protein, maltodextin, soybean and cottonseed
oils, cornstarch, chicken fat, caramel color, beef broth, citric
acid, disodium insinate, guanylate (flavor enhancers), and
spices. No MSG or autolyzed yeast extract.

Variation: For an Italian flair, substitute hamburger with Italian
seasoned sausage and replace vegetables with one 15 ¼ oz.
can of kidney beans, one 15 ½ oz. can of garbanzo beans,
and one 9 oz. pkg. of frozen Italian cut green beans.
